On October 16, SANY Group, a global leader in construction machinery manufacturing, announced that its independently developed JP100 high-altitude water jet fire truck achieved a maximum spray height of 159.66 meters at the 21st China International Firefighting Equipment Technology Exhibition. This accomplishment earned it the Guinness World Records™ title for “Highest Water Jet from a Fire Truck (Prototype).” This breakthrough achievement signifies SANY’s continued technological advancement in emergency rescue equipment, while also providing a robust solution for firefighting in ultra-high-rise buildings worldwide.

 

 

As the world’s first five-axle aerial water jet fire truck equipped with a 100-meter boom, the JP100 integrates multiple innovative designs. Its boom system comprises six telescopic sections and three folding sections. The lightweight chassis reduces weight by 10 tons compared to similar products. Equipped with high- and low-pressure multi-stage centrifugal pumps, it delivers a rated flow rate of 50 liters per second, achieves a maximum range exceeding 70 meters, and operates within a radius of over 100 meters. The addition of an intelligent remote control system enables single-operator control of primary functions, significantly enhancing emergency response and operational efficiency.

 

Addressing the industry challenge of high-rise building fires globally, the JP100 meets the firefighting demands of nearly all super-tall structures with its 159.66-meter spray height. Its flexible articulated arm can overcome obstacles to operate in confined spaces or behind buildings. With a total vehicle weight of 54 tons and a turning diameter of 23.7 meters, it maintains outstanding maneuverability and rapid response capabilities in urban environments.
