Recently, SANY Group successfully delivered the first hybrid mining water truck, the SET150S, to global iron ore giant Vale. This marks a significant new step in their strategic partnership and represents another key milestone for SANY's efficient, sustainable mining solutions as they deepen their presence in the Brazilian market.

Since establishing their partnership in 2021, SANY has delivered over 30 units of equipment including excavators and mining trucks to Vale, continuously serving its core mining operations in Brazil. The newly deployed SET150S is Brazil's first ultra-heavy-duty hybrid mining water truck, featuring a 30,000-gallon (approximately 114 cubic meters) ultra-large capacity water tank. It was specifically developed for demanding applications in South America's large open-pit mines, including intensive dust suppression and equipment cooling.

Powered by SANY's proprietary dual-engine hybrid system, this model delivers robust operational performance and large-capacity water transport while reducing fuel consumption by over 20%. It is projected to cut annual carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 30 tons, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and environmental benefits at mining sites. This supports clients in achieving dual objectives of cost reduction and green operations.

The equipment's efficient and stable operation is underpinned by SANY Brazil's comprehensive localized service network. Currently, SANY has deployed over 200 professional service engineers across key mining regions including São Paulo and Minas Gerais, providing round-the-clock technical support and operational maintenance to ensure seamless equipment performance throughout its lifecycle.
