On September 19, during the 2026 Heilongjiang International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, the first unit of the world’s most powerful wheeled tractor—the ZOOMLION DX7004 hybrid tractor—was delivered. This delivery marks the commercial application of domestically produced agricultural machinery in the ultra-high-horsepower hybrid sector and further drives the integration of new-energy agricultural machinery into large-scale agricultural production.

Heilongjiang is a major agricultural production base in China, ranking among the top in the country for arable land area and boasting a high level of agricultural mechanization. Local farmers have high expectations for the power, reliability, and operational efficiency of agricultural machinery. A large-scale farmer from Harbin received the “golden key” from Huo Xiaofeng, Deputy General Manager of ZOOMLION Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., becoming the first user of the DX7004.

The DX7004 employs a hybrid power architecture independently developed by ZOOMLION, featuring dual electric motors with a rated power of 700 horsepower and a peak power output of up to 1,200 horsepower. Its hybrid system, core components, and control system were all independently developed by ZOOMLION.

The product utilizes a power-coupled transmission configuration, enabling stepless speed regulation in both travel and operation modes. Compared to international products of equivalent horsepower, the DX7004 achieves fuel savings of 10%–40% and a 15% increase in operational efficiency, further enhancing energy efficiency and operational performance.

This first delivery represents a significant achievement in ZOOMLION’s agricultural machinery division’s “High-End, International, New Energy” strategy and marks the transition of ultra-high-horsepower hybrid agricultural machinery from technological R&D to commercial application.
